The granting of a CC-licence is not revocable, and you apparently uploaded this image yourself.  Keep, it is a bit late for a courtesy deletion. Maybe an admin can check the original upload description on en-WP and see whether it is different from the licence that is displayed here... but I doubt that. --Enyavar (talk) 13:22, 6 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, your opinion is not requested, I am the owner and decider and you may leave the discussion, thanks! ~2026-27616-86 (talk) 05:22, 7 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: I did not see anything in Public domain or Public-domain-equivalent license that hints at such a dedication like {{PD-self}} being revocable, and due to the passage of time, claiming a mistake or something similar is likely amounting to a defence bound to be unsuccessful. Kept. @Sovtek: thank you for acknowledging so clearly that this photograph is entirely your work. In the process of uploading, you clearly granted an irrevocable license. Between those two facts, I don't see any legal basis for your claim (context: I am an admin on Commons, but not a lawyer), and certainly see no reason to grant a courtesy deletion in the face of what looks to me like a poorly grounded legal threat. If you think I have decided this wrongly, foundation:Policy:Wikimedia Foundation Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Policy#If you are a copyright owner… makes clear two directions you can pursue. However, Commons has a rule that you cannot simultaneously make legal threats against other users and participate in the project. I will assume you were unaware of that, so I won't take any action for what you have written above, but if you make further legal threats here on Commons, I will have to block your account; I'd prefer not to have to do that. - Jmabel ! talk 23:46, 9 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
