If you are reading this post, I’m sure you know how important is to create a mailing list to retain the loyalty of your blog users. It’s essential to weave a deeper relationship with your subscribers, communicate and get to know them better.

There is nothing more wrong than using your mailing list just to communicate the release of your latest article.

Your subscribers should be treated as privileged: you have to give them added value! Send exclusive content, new discoveries, case studies, or your future plans. This helps to establish a really deep connection between you and your readers.

This post at WHSR suggests always having something to offer in your emails, whether that’s a freebie or an idea, or an opinion, and always making the person feel special.

Now, even if it may sound easy, I can tell you that managing a successful newsletter is a trivial task.

Today, millions of emails are sent every day in the world and, with the current pace of life, no one can read all the emails he receives. Due to the limited time available, each person decides in an instant if he is going to read or not message, often, by simply scanning the object or the sender.

For this reason, you must know the basic strategies of email marketing, which include using the right service provider. Yes, Google Workspace is great, but it’s not enough to build and manage email lists.

In this post, I’m going to list the top ten email marketing tools in the industry. It’s up to you to decide the one you like more.

1. GetResponse

getresponse homepage screenshot

GetResponse is, in my opinion, one of the best email marketing providers. With an intuitive user interface and beautiful design, you can create attractive email newsletters to boost your business.

I like the email creator feature that checks how the messages will look on desktops or smartphones, so as to make the proper changes before sending them out. There are more than 500 templates to choose from, plus, there are more than 1000 free iStock images you can insert into your emails to make them more visually appealing.

One of the main features is the autoresponder, the most loved tool of bloggers and marketers. Using this tool, you can create a series of emails that are sent to users automatically at specific intervals of time, once subscribed to your mailing list.

This is actually a powerful strategy, that gives you the opportunity to stay in touch with your audience for a long time. And it’s an automatic system. Once you set it up the first time, it works the same way for every new subscriber.

GetResponse also offers an easy-to-use landing page creator (it’s a feature included in all plans, something that you don’t see on many other ESP).

There are more than 100 templates to choose from, with good-looking “thank you” pages that match the design of the template chosen.

The drag’n’drop WYSIWYG editor is really simple to understand. Without particular HTML knowledge, you’re able to move and edit every element of the landing page (such as buttons, texts or boxes).

I particularly like the extra option to publish the landing page on the tab of a Facebook fan page (other than on websites or a free GetResponse sub-domain).

Every template is mobile-friendly, which is really important nowadays.

The last feature I want to talk about is the webinars (something that just GetResponse offers included in an email marketing service plan).

As you know, a webinar can boost your business and improve your audience, by creating online events where you can share your knowledge on certain topics. This is a perfect occasion to gather new contacts for your mailing list.

Pricing is competitive. From $15/month for unlimited emails to 1,000 contacts or $25/month for up to 2,500 contacts (included the landing page builder, other than email creator and autoresponders). The next step is at $49/mo, including also the webinar service.

2. Vendasta

Vendasta is more than just an email marketing tool. It is an all-in-one AI-powered customer acquisition and engagement platform built specifically for local businesses and the agencies that support them.

Its email marketing solution includes automated campaign management, smart audience segmentation, and personalized content delivery. What makes Vendasta stand out is how seamlessly it connects with other essential tools like CRM, reputation management, SMS marketing, and sales automation. This gives you everything you need to manage the entire customer journey from one place.

The platform’s drag-and-drop email builder makes it easy to create responsive, professional-looking emails without needing design or coding skills. Vendasta’s AI assistants help optimize send times, suggest campaign improvements, and automatically trigger follow-ups based on customer actions.

Advanced analytics go beyond open and click rates, showing you how each campaign impacts engagement and conversions.

Vendasta is also built for agencies. You can manage multiple clients from a single dashboard, with full white-label branding and shared task management for streamlined collaboration.

If you’re looking for more than a basic email tool, Vendasta delivers a unified experience that simplifies marketing and drives measurable results.

Pricing starts at $79 per month, with flexible plans based on your business needs. Schedule a demo to see how Vendasta can support your email marketing and more

3. MailChimp

MailChimp homepage screenshot

MailChimp is a good solution for very small businesses. The free plan offers lots of third-party integration and a good number of help materials. There are built-in templates and editor to customize the campaigns.

The free version supports up to 2,000 users and up to 12,000 emails per month, switching to the paid version costs $15 (or up to $240) per month depending on how many subscribers you have.

Good integration with mobile and awesome application for Android and iPhone.

There are a few cons. Features like spam filtering, analytics tools, and auto-responding abilities are absent in the free plan. Even with paid plans, reports aren’t real-time and are quite slow to refresh.

When your mailing list is over 2000 subscribers, with MailChimp the service can cost quite a lot. With 2,500 contacts, the price would be $30, scaling at $35 for 2600 users and $40 for 2700. Quite expensive, even with unlimited emails.

As a bottom line, I can say that MailChimp is easy to set up and simple to use. If you are a small business looking to get started with email marketing with the least amount of investment, MailChimp should be your solution.

4. Constant Contact

ConstantContact homepage screenshot

If you are just starting with email marketing, other than MailChimp, ConstantContact could be a great solution.

They offer a powerful and user-friendly interface with a wide selection of email templates.

There is a huge selection of materials to leverage email marketing for your business, such as webinars, tutorials, user guides, and tips to help you in this industry.

ConstantContact offers great event management tools and useful social media campaign resources.

But there are a few cons. They miss some advanced options, such as triggered campaigns and an RSS to email function (these features are powerful when you want to automate part of your campaigns), or even A/B split testing, which is another important omission (I’m sure you understand how A/B testing can improve your conversions).

They have quite high prices for the industry, starting at $20 per month to send unlimited emails for up to 500 users and scaling to $35 per month for 2,500 contacts and $55 per month for up to 5,000.

5. Benchmark Email

Benchmark homepage screenshot

Benchmark Email offers a free plan which allows you to send up to 10,000 emails per month.

There are a lot of user segment options and their customer support is great. I liked the Google Analytics tracking option.

With the paid plans, you can get other premium features, such as online surveys, email templates, and tracking email statistics.

Overall, I can say that Benchmark Email grants a simple-to-use interface and a good number of features.

The cons are that Benchmark does not offer Gmail or other third-party contact integration. Plus, there’s no mobile preview option. I also found the email editor a bit glitchy in testing.

Prices start at $9.95 per month for 600 emails and max out at $375 for 100,000 emails per month.

6. Ominsend

Omnisend is a great tool for those who want to take their email marketing to the next level. Not only does this platform offer sophisticated email marketing automation workflows, but you can include additional channels into the same workflow.

This means you can create complex workflows including channels such as SMS, web push notifications, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, and more, extending your campaigns across several channels at once.

But email stays at the core of what Omnisend does, and they do it well. You don’t need HTML savoir-faire to create emails with this tool, instead just use their drag-and-drop visual composer. That same visual aspect is used when you’re creating tooltips, popups, landing pages, or anything else in Omnisend

Another interesting point to note is their segmentation. They allow you to layer segmentation so that you can target by profile data, campaign engagement, customer behavior, or a mixture of the three. This allows you to get pretty precise when you’re targeting your campaigns.

The biggest con with Omnisend is that there is no mobile app at the moment. So if you’re trying to send your campaigns on the go, it might be a good idea to bring a laptop.

Prices start from $16 per month for their Standard plan, and their free plan for basic email marketing allows for up to 15,000 emails per month.

7. EngageBay

EngageBay is the new kid on the block but fast becoming the preferred email marketing service for many startups and small businesses out there. They offer a wide array of email marketing templates powered by a simple drag-and-drop interface. Moreover, the segmentation and targeting functionalities are great.

The ability to personalize your emails, rich formatting options, and an easy option to track your campaign performance makes EngageBay a great marketing automation software to go for.

Grow your business with powerful email marketing. Choose from several ready-made email templates or create your own. Personalize every part of the email and send them in a click. Track and analyze your results. Choose from a wide array of email marketing templates to suit your business needs. Use their simple drag-and-drop interface to create a template that suits your business need. Segment and target your subscriber lists. Personalize your emails. Track and optimize your campaigns.

But it’s the pricing that really stands out:

Pricing per contact

  • Up to 1,000: $0/mo
  • Up to 10,000: $7.79/mo
  • Up to 25,000: $14.99/mo
  • Up to 50,000: $29.99/mo

What we like about EngageBay: The number of features it offers at a competitively low price point. Their flexible, customizable plans are good too. The user interface is simple and user-friendly and their support is commendable. It is a modern platform for small businesses that cannot afford higher-priced solutions.

What they should improve: Emails are branded so if you’d like to send emails without the EngageBay brand, you’d have to pay extra.

Who is this for: those who are looking for a powerful yet affordable tool to reach customers via different channels (emails, SMS, push notifications, etc). Also, in case you are looking for a free tool, they offer a decent deal for $0 a month.

8. AeroLeads

Have you heard about AeroLeads…? That’s one of the best email marketing tools in the market helping you find business email addresses. Part of your email campaign requires the right set of audiences to broadcast your brand.

AeroLeads helps you extract Email IDs, contact numbers, addresses, and many more credits to work with. Email Marketing needs potential leads and acquiring them needs more effort and man-hours. AeroLeads has made it easy to collect prospects from various platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter & more.

Giving you the feasibility to access it around all platforms, AeroLeads has a free Google Chrome Extension that allows you to extract emails and integrates them in a consolidated .CSV file.

The simple yet powerful plugin gives you both customization and automation. You can now upload your data, and synchronize them to your favorite CRM like Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Mailchimp, HubSpot, FreshSales, and Zapier.

  • Flexible
  • Import / Export Data
  • Extract Business Leads Email Id
  • Works across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram.

The pricing of AeroLeads gives you full access without any restrictions. Though there is a full-time free access agenda, when there are restrictions to specific user profiles, the AeroLeads premiere version will give you exclusive access to all prospects at $49. With chat and email support to back you up, you can acquire up to 4000 credits wherein five users are allowed to help in with your email campaign at $149. Supporting bulk tasks, the plugin gives you a cost-effective plan that can grow your revenue at the same time helps you immensely in lead generation.

9. NotifyVisitors

NotifyVisitors is a powerful email marketing tool that businesses can use to transform their email campaigns. They provide a comprehensive suite of email solutions for businesses of any size to help them create and send highly targeted email messages to their customers.

Drag and drop email editor to make email templates of your choice. Moreover, using personalization to send more relevant content to generate better outcomes

From creating automated email newsletters, customized email newsletters and email series, NotifyVisitors has all the tools and features you need to engage with your customers directly through email.

In-depth analytics to provide you insights into every campaign. Furthermore, businesses can easily track the performance of their emails in real-time to ensure they are optimized for success.

The best part about NotifyVisitors is, it is easy to set up and implement and does not require any coding knowledge to get started.

Moreover, it offers a free plan that allows you to understand its functionality and decide for yourself.

10. AWeber

Aweber homepage screenshot

AWeber is another popular choice, which used to own the market monopoly until a few years ago (I remember it was the obvious choice when I started blogging in 2010).

It has many high-end features, including autoresponders, sign-up forms, email deliverability, and email newsletters with a drag-and-drop editor.

I particularly like the easy-to-use templates and segmentation capabilities.

There are a few cons, however. AWeber doesn’t support mobile platforms and doesn’t host images on its own servers.

You can make use of landing pages with Aweber, using a series of third-party tools or (if you have enough expertise) by manually coding your landing page and inserting the Aweber form (unlike GetResponse which offers the landing page editor included in all its plans).

Prices are quite hard to digest. Plans range from $19 per month for just 500 subscribers, scaling to $29 for up to 2500 and $49 for up to 5000.

Final Words

While it’s always up to you the final choice, I’d like to hear what you think about these 10 email marketing tools I talked about in this post.

Do you have experience with any of them?

Linkody started as a simple backlink checking tool and has been continually evolving, getting more and more features as it did.

And now it helps you earn backlinks from established sources, monitor these links, and analyze their metrics, among other great features.

In this article, you and I will explore together all the features of Linkody.com, one by one.

Oh, did I mention it has a very reasonable price?

Or that they have a free backlink checking tool to get a sort of preview of what the SEO software does?

Read on to find out more.

The First Minutes With Linkody

It takes about a minute or two to go from signing up to monitoring backlinks, thanks to its simplified on-boarding process.

Step 1-4 (click to enlarge)
  1. Link your Google Analytics account with Linkody
  2. Add your domain
  3. Add your competitors’ URLs
  4. And at last, your Ahrefs account if you find it necessary

In as little as four steps, you can start monitoring everyone’s backlinks.

Your Domain’s Dashboard

Once you’ve added your domain to Linkody, it will pull up a variety of essential metrics and display them in your dashboard for your ease.

Additionally, you can also see your newly gained and lost backlinks, and those of your competitors’.

Linkody dashboard (click to enlarge)
  • Mozrank, Domain Authority, Spam Score
  • The number of backlinks
  • Social shares
  • Trust and social flow
  • Alexa rating

You can expand most of these metrics by clicking on the view historical data link under each metric.

This shows you how well your efforts have fared with your results.

Clicking on the historical data link shows you an overview like this:

Check historical data link

Coming back to the dashboard, you would scroll further down to see the latest statuses of your backlinks and a graphical summary.

If backlink monitoring is the cherry on top, then the dashboard is the creamy exterior. It’s particularly useful for you SEO masters to be able to check up on the latest metrics of your own domain as well as that of your competitors’.

That about sums it up for the dashboard.

Link Attributes

Next to the Dashboard tab, you’ll find the Links tab where you can view your backlinks. This shows a table with all the backlinks and their metrics.

Link view (click to enlarge)

You may pull down the Columns option to select/unselect the metrics shown in the table.

These are the different columns available to you.

And this is what the above metrics mean to you:

  • Added – the day this domain has been discovered by or added to Linkody
  • Status – the status of the link when it was last checked
  • URL From – the URL of the page linking to your domain
  • Landing Page – the landing page on your site the link is pointing to
  • Anchor – the visible, clickable text of the link
  • RelNF (nofollow) or F (follow), where NF means that the hyperlink should not influence the ranking of the link’s target in the search engine’s index (Read more.)
  • Moz – includes Mozrank, Page Authority and Domain Authority which represent a link popularity score and reflect the importance of any given web page on the Internet. Click on the mini-menu to switch between each metric.
  • Spam Score – a metric from Moz that indicates how likely a website is to be penalized by Google (Read more.)
  • Shares – the total number of social shares (hover over to see distribution by social network)
  • IP – the hosting server’s country
  • TLD – the Top Level Domain’s corresponding country (.com .fr etc.)
  • EFL – the External Follow Links is the number of links on this page pointing to a different domain (that the domain the page is on).

As with any good tool, you can sort and filter the backlinks to better analyze your backlink quality and quantity.

Backlink Sorting

You may sort the table based on a column by clicking on its header.

You can either filter your links based on Follow/Nofollow type of links:

Or by link status:

Once you’ve gotten your table sorted and filtered to suit your needs, you can expand a backlink to get more details about that link. It shows it as an overlay dialog so that you can return to the page by clicking outside the box.

Link detailed overview

With Linkody, you can go to the specific section and page of your link. This is probably the most useful and handiest feature of Linkody’s. This lets you easily validate the links relevance to the page and section.

Link overview

Competitors’ Backlinks

Next up is the Competitors section, where you can see the Linkody magic happen. This section shows you what your competitors are up to such as their top pages and their backlinks. This is invaluable, as even someone starting backlinking for a website anew can quickly lift off the ground by seeing what your competitors are doing and imitating them. All the features of this section are detailed below.

Select a competitor from the Competitors tab and view all their backlinks at once in a table. You can view the backlinks of each or all competitor’(s) backlinks, add new competitors, and monitor their metrics.

View Top Pages

Viewing top pages could be useful for a variety of reasons: to see which pages or content your competitors rank the highest for, the most and average number of backlinks a page has, which topics they’ve succeeded with and which ones were a downer, and topics they’ve omitted.

You view the top pages by opening the View Top Pages link in the competitors section after you’ve selected a competitor.

On a good day you can follow what they’ve done and do it a tad bit (three times) better to get the same kind of success.

Top pages from competitors (click to enlarge)

This is the feature you should use if you’re looking to creating content that will earn you backlinks. Or in other words, this is what one would call a linkbait content that’s a real link magnet. This type of content is very interesting and useful to a large set of audience that people will give you backlinks (without even asking them).

View All Competitors’ Links

Check all competitor links

In this quick yet detailed view, you can view all the necessary data on your competitors’ backlinks. You can view all your competitors’ backlinks; even 44k of them. Usually (or at least ideally) your competitors must be very similar to you in terms their niche and products/services. This is crucial so that you can be assured that you’re sailing in the downwind; thus, increasing the chances of webmasters featuring you as well.

Now, just like with the Links section, you can sort, filter, and select your desired columns; experiment with the metrics Linkody offers.

Here’s some things you can look for in the competitors’ links page:

  • You can check which backlinks you have in common and from which domains you and your competitors have common links, or just check which links you share with your rivals.
  • You can filter the backlinks by RELs – select do-follow or no-follow backlinks.
  • And the cool part is you can do the search for general phrases, here’s an example:
    • Search for “blog” – you will be able to find all your competitor mentions in different blogs. This is a wonderful way to search for guest blogging opportunities.
    • Search for “review” – this is how you can find all the sites that have written a review for your competitors. In this way, you can find websites who could be interested in reviewing your product or service.
    • Search for “list” or “tools” – this is the best option to find the Ultimate List of XYZ tools. And if you check “not shared” link you will be able to find all the lists where our tool or service is not yet available (here are few more tricks you might like).

As a matter of fact, your imagination is your only limit. So, you can try different combinations and perhaps even share some cool tricks you might find.

Manage Competitors

This part of the Competitors section is where you can manage and monitor your competitors’ attributes and other metrics such as their page authority or social media shares. This has everything you’d usually need.

You can:

  • Add new competitors
  • Arrange and view by domains
  • View all their metrics:
    • Amount of backlinks
    • Moz Metrics – Domain and page authority as well as MozRank
    • Spam Score
    • Shares
    • And Alexa rank
  • Sort and filter your competitors on their metrics to see which competitor is doing the best with growing links or having the most traffic (Alexa rank).

Recently, another cool feature was added to Linkody where you can provide layered access control for different accounts. You can segregate and allow your partners’ accounts to view all or only some of your competitors.

Backlink Analytics

Besides the Links and Competitors page, there’s a specific section for backlink analysis. Here you can find a bunch of graphs of the metrics to get a quick (and detailed) overview of the metrics.

You can also filter the data on the graphs using the different options provided in the filter dropdown menu such as statuses of backlinks like “OK”, “Errors”, “Paid” etc.

In the analytics section you can see graphs on these stats:

  • Moz Metrics Distributions
  • Spam Score Distribution
  • Your Top TLDs
  • Sources of your backlinks (location such as Asia)
  • Your most linked landing pages
  • Do/No-follow distribution
  • Class C Distribution
  • Domains with most links to your content

That’s it for now.

There are few more cool things Linkody can do – but you have to unwrap that gift of a tool yourself.

Otherwise, it’s no fun, right?

Take the free trial for a spin and have some SEO fun. Afterward, let us know when was the point when you thought – “oh sh*t, this is pretty cool”.

Would be great to know what surprised you the most about Linkody and its backlink skills.

“No man is an island,” as the saying goes. In the world of online businesses, You need all the help you can get from people so you can growth hack your website and generate more traffic and sales. You can’t do this all by yourself and expect immediate results.

Another wise man said, “You’ll get by with a little help from your friend.”

This reason explains the popular of blogger outreach. It helps you build relationships with like-minded professionals and influencers so you can grow a network of engaged people whom you can tap to for promotions and engagement. People also use blogger outreach to build links for their site as part of their white hat SEO strategy. It is one of the many byproducts of blogger outreach if you do it correctly.

To do so, you need to use the best blogger outreach tools to help you find influencers and seed them automated emails. Below are tools I’d recommend:

Blogger Outreach Tools To Stake Your Life On (5 Of ’em!)

1. Buzzsumo

Buzzsumo is a content research tool to help you find the most shared posts about your topic so you can analyze them and create an even better version. The tool is an indispensable part of the Skyscraper Technique that lets you create traffic-generating content even if your site is fairly new.

However, it works perfectly as a blogger outreach tool too. Buzzsumo lets you find Twitter influencers about your topic and gather information about them. It shows you how engaged they are in Twitter based on their retweet and reply ratios. The idea is to find influencers with lots of followers but continue to reply to their followers and retweets posts of others. If they can sustain this level of activity on Twitter, there’s a good chance they’ll reply to your tweet if you reach out to them.

You can also view the links they shared to get an idea of the posts they’re willing to share to their network. Using this information, you can create content tailored to their sharing patterns on Twitter. Reach out to them with your content and expect them to share it in no time!

2. FindThatLead

If you want to reach out to your audience, then you need to send them an email. Private messages on their social media networks may fall on deaf ears. Due to the insurgence of mobile devices, emails have become hip and trendy again. Lots of brands are engaging with their audience via email to great effect. Whether you’re trying to reach out influencers or other people, email is the way to go.

To find out the emails of people whom you want to connect with, use FindThatLead.

There are different ways on how you can use FindThatLead as part of your blogger outreach strategy. You can use it with Buzzsumo if you want to find the email addresses of Twitter influencers and people who shared a post about your topic. You can upload the Twitter URLs of these people and FindThatLead will process the data in bulk. Once done, you can download a file that shows the email addresses of people. The tool scores each email address according to the probability of it being correct. Use this information wisely so you reach out to people with the right email addresses and not from ones that will most likely bounce.

Another use case of FindThatLead for blogger outreach is to find cold leads where you can promote your post or services. Using its Prospector feature, select specific targeting criteria so the tool will return the right leads for you. Once you have the list, choose the people whom you want to reach out to by getting their email. Then go to Campaigns, upload the CSV, and type the message you want to send to them. The tool will take care of sending the emails one by one.

3. Lemlist

Lemlist is a cold email outreach tool that fits in well in your blogger outreach strategy. It bears similarities with FindThatLead’s Campaign feature where you can send bulk emails to people from your CSV file. However, Lemlist is closer to Mailshake because you can send cold email campaigns to build relationships with your audience.

What makes Lemlist special is the ability to send customized images to recipients. Using custom variables, the tool will insert the text in the images so you don’t have to create them for every email. You can use image templates available in the tool or upload your own images to further personalize your message. The more personalized and authentic your emails are, the higher the open and click-throught rates will be.

4. Ninja Outreach

If you want a blogger outreach tool that has everything you need, then Ninja Outreach is your choice. You can create a list to reach out to for a variety of purpose related to blogger outreach:

  • promotional opportunities
  • influencer search
  • most shared content
  • find leads

Build your list by typing the topic on the search bar. It will return people of different online sources according to your topic. Each result will show relevant website metrics for you to determine whether to pursue them (this is crucial if you want to request a link on their site).

Once you’ve filtered the list, you can send them emails from its collection of templates. Choose one and customize it according to your needs so you don’t have to start from scratch. You can also prepare a follow-up email if they didn’t open the previous email. Once done, let the tool send the emails automatically and analyze the results.

5. Pitchbox

Pitchbox is a more powerful version of Ninja Outreach. Agencies that rely on blogger outreach as bedrock for their marketing efforts will highly enjoy using this tool.

Aside from blogger outreach, the tool works as a CRM platform to keep track of your contacts and see how they responded to your campaign. If you have clients, you can build reports based on the campaign’s performance and determine things you did right and areas that need improvement. There is also a Team Performance feature that lets you evaluate how your members fared during the campaign based on different variables.

If you built links using Pitchbox, it lets you monitor the links you’ve acquired and see if they are still up and free from errors. If the latter, you can reach out to your contact person and ask why the linked is down or removed.

Are You Ready To Use These Blogger Outreach Tools And Take Your Site To The Next Level?

The tools listed above are just one of the many tools you can use to build relationships with influencers and leverage them to boost your site’s growth. What’s important when using these tools is to keep your outreach genuine. Don’t reach out to the with an agenda in mind. From there, everything else will come naturally. Good luck!

Nowadays, starting an online business looks really easy, but it requires lots of work and knowledge.

It also involves using many different tools, most of them with a fixed cost.

After setting your goals, you need to understand what you want to sell, get a domain name and a hosting plan, create a website, set up the payment method, choose the email marketing provider, the customer management and lots of other things.

On top of that, the choice for each service can be confusing, as there are many platforms offering pretty much the same solutions. In a few words, starting an online business from scratch can be overwhelming.

What if there was a way to find everything you need included in a single platform?

Well, this is what Kajabi is offering.

How Kajabi Works

kajabi-homepage-screenshot

I remember when I started my first blog, back in 2010, I had to choose Blogger (the free service of Google), because installing a self-hosted WordPress blog seemed to hard for me, at that time.

Then I decided to invest my time studying all the technical aspects of WordPress and cPanel of the hosting service. It tool me actually lots of hours before I was able, three months later, to get my first self-hosted WordPress site live. After publishing some blog posts, I wanted to create a mailing list and I spent again countless hours studying design and the technical aspects of the email marketing.

In a few words, I failed a lot, but I also learned a lot. And if I could go back in time, I would surely hire an expert to teach me everything I needed to start an online business.

What I love about technology is that in a few years, it evolves and may change a lot.

For example today, with Kajabi, you can start your online business right away. It’s an all in one platform which gives you all the features you need to sell, market and deliver your content, but it also gives no limitations to all the external tools you want to connect.

With Kajabi, you can build your website, create a landing page, set up your email marketing and manage your customers without leaving the platform.

It’s very important to note that you don’t have to be an expert in the technical or design field to be able to build a complex online business with Kajabi. All you need is create amazing content to sell to your audience.

Now let’s see all the features into details.kajabi-features

Build a Website and Sell Products with Kajabi

Kajabi makes easy to create the powerful website you need to sell your online courses (you can also think about building membership sites or training portals).

Everything is highly customizable, from choosing the site theme, adding your logo, selecting images and colors or getting your favorite URL.

Use the drag and drop site builder to make your content go live with a professional looking in just minutes.

The themes available have mobile responsive designs (which means are beautiful on computers, tablets, and phones ) and are easy to be installed:

Work on the content you want to sell, so with Kajabi you can create a marketplace where your customers can buy your products with just one click.

Also the customers management is easy. For example, you can give users one place to login and access the library of all the products they have purchased from you.

Of course, you can create as many static pages as you want to include information that rarely need to be updated, like the “About”, “Contact Us” or “Privacy Policy” pages (there are pre-built disclaimers for “Terms of Use” pages too).

You have the option to use the built-in blog. This way, you can bring value to your users, gaining new subscribers and convert cold prospects into loyal fans. The design of your blog will be determined by the theme you are going to choose, so it will perfectly match the overall look of your website.

As for the custom URL, you have to know that each Kajabi site gets a domain (yoursite.mykajabi.com). But if you want, you can use a custom domain (www.yoursite.com) or even a subdomain (courses.yoursite.com), if you wish.

Now that you have the website set up, you want to start selling your content.

You can easily add file downloads to your products.

add-new-product-downloads-with-kajabi

You can upload documents, presentations, images, and audio files to make them available to your customers.

As for videos, Kajabi created a powerful encoding and delivery system, powered by Wistia. Your users will get flawless and speedy viewing on any device, anywhere, anytime.

Community building is also important. Increase engagement thanks to the comments and build discussions with your customers, who are going to ge notified by email each time someone replies to their comments.

Sales Tools

Now that you set up the website and added your products, it’s time to sell them.

With just a couple of clicks, you will be ready to receive payments via credit card from any users from all around the world.

There’s an integrated payment powered by Stripe that, with just a couple of clicks, lets you set up to get credit card payments (consider that you don’t need a merchant account or payment gateway, because it’s all organized by Kajabi).

Of course, there are different payment options you can select, from selling your products for a one-time fee to ongoing monthly subscription, or even given away for free.

You can create offers, like special limited time pricing, or bundle products together to be sold at one fixed price.

You also may want to create your affiliate network of users who are going to market the products for you:

affiliates-system-at-kajabi

There’s a built-in affiliate system, to lets you track partner referrals, sales, and commissions with a well working affiliate program. Your affiliates will be able to enter a nice dashboard to stay updated on real-time stats about their referrals.

And there’s more. You can create coupons and sell in multiple currencies. Also, you don’t have to worry about VAT compliance: Kajabi is fully integrated with Quaderno to respect the VAT for each sale for EU users.

Marketing and Customer Management

It’s important to nurture your existing customers to invite them to purchase more.

There are lots of tools to help you manage your users, like create a member list or easily filter by product to see who has purchased what:

members-management-at-kajabi

Marketing will be easy too. Use the landing page creator to build beautiful landing page in minutes: just select a template, add your own copy, and start sending people to your new page.

If you are working online, chances are that you have multiple social media accounts. But managing them all could be a real pain, right?

Fortunately, there are some tools that can help you have all your social media properties under control, optimizing your time and increasing productivity.

Today, I will share my experience with SMhack, an all in one social media marketing solution I’ve been testing lately.

How SMhack Works

smhack-homepage-screenshot

SMhack.io is an all in one social media managing tool for professional marketers, small businesses and digital marketing agencies, which offers several interesting features such as cross-channel posting, task management, performance analysis, activity and engagement monitoring.

It’s a SaaS solution and it does not requires any additional hardware to install on your computer.

To start, claim your free trial (you instantly get access to all the features in SMhack’s Premium Plan for 7 days – no credit card needed) and take a look of how this tool can help you managing effectively all your social media accounts.

Once you sign up, authorize SMhack to access your social profiles, by visiting the settings section:

adding-social-media-profiles-at-smhack

Once you added all your social media profiles (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram), you want to authorize your Google Analytics too.

Now you are ready to go!

SMhack Main Features

SMhack offers many features, here are some of them:

  • ‘Social Inbox’ dashboard
  • Task assignment
  • Post scheduling
  • Slack integration
  • Social media workflow
  • User permissions
  • Publishing calendar
  • Team performance reports
  • Twitter analytics
  • Full conversation threads
  • Reply posting
  • Comment posting
  • Cross-platform publishing
  • Post queue
  • Facebook insights
  • Client reports

Let’s see the main features into details.

Social Inbox

Thanks to this feature, you can bring all your conversations from your different social media accounts under a single dashboard.

You will be able to see all your posts, direct messages and mentions in one place.

Take a look at the following image:

social-inbox-smhack-feature

In the top left, as you can see, you have the option to filter the social inbox by selecting one or more of your social media profiles.

You can click on each of the messages, posts or mentions visualized on your social inbox to check the details and engage with the sender. For example, if it’s a DM, you can answer directly. If that’s a Twitter mention, you can favorite or retweet. If that a Facebook post, you can like it or comment.

A common feature is the option to assign the task to a team member. If you take a look at this picture:

post-detail-with-smhack-social-inbox-feature

There’s a pin in the top right of the post and when you click on it, you can assign the task to your teammate:

You can also set permission levels to streamline the workflow.

Publish

This essential, but important feature offers a lot of interesting options.

As you can see in the image of my SMhack dashboard:

publish-feature-with-smhack

Just type your post and decide both the social media profiles where you want to post it and the time you wish to publish it.

Send it right away, push it to queue (let SMhack decide the best time to post it) or schedule it.

The following is the screenshot of my first scheduled tweet with SMhack:

scheduled-tweet-with-smhack

Composing posts is very simple. Also, you can attach images or shorten URLs. You can then publish your posts in one or more of your social media accounts at the same time.

There’s also a content publishing calendar that helps you monitor the content published. This is an effective way to get everything under control and schedule your week or the whole month of social media activities.

Take a look at the tweet I sent out with the scheduled option at SMhack:

tweet-sent-out-with-smhack

Analytics

The analysis is a very important part of social media marketing.

You want to check the engagement with your audience, the performance of your posts or the growth of your accounts. The analytics section of your SMhack dashboard offers you all these features and many more.

For each of your social media accounts, you can perform a detailed analysis.

For example with Facebook, you can check the fan growth, impressions and engagement, as well as demographics and top engaged posts:

analytics-section-of-smhack

Very useful to increase reach and page likes. Also, to engage better by analyzing your previous posts.

Or with Twitter, you can check the engagement of your account at the end of the day, filter it by days of the week or even by media type. You may also want to look at your most engaged hashtags.

This is very interesting to create a strategy and send out content when you see the most engagement.

Everything is built to help you get the most out of your social accounts, so to increase the interaction with your audience, which is one of the most important factor, when talking of social media marketing.

Compare

Use this section to add the social media accounts of your competitors, to monitor, track and analyze their strategies.

Your competitor’s fans are growing? Analyze patterns to learn their strategy and find out which locations are being targeted.

Your rival’s posts are doing great? Get your content mix right by tracking their plans. Be sure to identify their best performing posts to check what works.

Are your competitor’s fans interactive? Get the pulse of their user base by analyzing their engagement (for example, the most engaged days).

compare-feature-at-smhack

Monitor

This is another interesting option, that you are probably looking at with a different tool.

You can add multiple keywords and monitor them:

add-keywords-to-monitor-with-smhack

Come back after a while to check everthing was mentioned with your keywords.

Excellent for monitoring your brand!

SMhack Pricing

Pricing is based on plan level and number of social profiles.

Three plan levels are available: Standard, Premium, and Agency.

Social profiles include Facebook fan pages, Facebook profiles, Twitter handles, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts.

There’s a 7-days free trial, no credit card required.

After that, you can choose the standard plan, for example, at $39/mo with up to 5 social media profiles and the following features included:

The post Maximize Your Profit with the Help of These Conversion Rate Optimisation Tools first appeared on No Passive Income.]]>
If truth be told, trying to influence Internet users to visit a website is already challenging. That said, converting these visitors is more difficult, but essential because it’s how a business profit.

Fortunately, there are a lot of conversion optimization tools specifically built to track features that ensure that the visitors would fall into the sales funnel. Not just that; another wonderful thing about this is the fact that most of them are free of charge; allowing the user to track insights, such as the usability, landing page design, call-to-action effectiveness, and features without the need to spend much.

Here are some of the most useful tools when it comes to conversion rate optimization.

1. Analytics Services

Probably the well-built tools of online marketing are the analytics services because for the past few years, these tools have gotten more extensive than how they were originally created. As a matter of fact, even the free analytics tool is capable of providing comprehensive data about where the traffic originates from, how long the visitors remain on each page, and the path visitors usually take, and so on.

Once a website has an integrated A/B testing tool, the owner would be able to see the way the traffic segments that see each other usually behave. Not just that, data such as site paths, bounce rates, and period on page for each variation are also measurable elements of analytics. With the help of this very powerful tool, it’s easy to locate the services and discover ways on how to incorporate more services after.

Google Analytics is probably the most popular free tool available for bloggers and internet marketers.

example-of-google-analytics-screenshot

2. Marketing Automation Platform

This tool helps in converting a simple lead into a customer, because an automated marketing tool involves measuring and automating all the connection between the business owner and the prospective customer. Wherein, a new prospect can be considered and it would be automatically included to an email program and distributed to the members.

Furthermore, linking the A/B tested pages with various marketing campaigns is also a great way to measure the quantity and quality of leads coming from these. Keep in mind though; when evaluating a lead generation page, it’s important to ask yourself how the number of form fields affects the lead quality/quantity. Will it result to more leads or not?

Paying attention to both of these, together with the lead quantity and quality are also important especially if you want to scale your concern long term. Basically, if a specific page variation changes in quantity, but the quality decreases, then this isn’t really a smart move at all.

You should read: GetResponse New Marketing Automation: What You Need to Know

3. A/B Testing Platform

A lot of experts consider A/B testing as an integral tool of conversion rate optimisation. Basically, the A/B testing tool allows the user to pit several versions of a web page against one another; as it directs these website to a funnel that determines which among these are capable of producing remarkable result.

For instance, it allows the website owner to determine if the “Add to Cart” button generates more clicks in version A or version B.

However, despite the fact that the idea of A/B testing is pretty straightforward, choosing the right services is a great way to make it fun and easy while being able to monitor the results and if the conversion rate optimisation is working the way it should.

4. Heat Mapping Service

Heat mapping tools offer the most relevant insight on how visitors act with a website. Through this, you’ll be able to monitor the mouse clicks together with other manipulations that happen within the page– this includes scrolling. Aside from that, a heat map also offers a clear image of where users usually spend most of their time on the website, and where they really don’t.

That said, it can also be used to figure out what elements on the page must be optimised. Though, as a rule of thumb, before you even consider website optimisation, it’s important to examine the heat map of the web page. This would give you the ideas how the visitors interact with one another. Also, with the help of the best professionals offering conversion rate optimization, you’ll have the assurance that your website would be properly optimised.

Have you ever tried the heat mapping service of Lucky Orange? Here’s my review.

Final Words

Conversion optimisation is considered to be a long-term project.

It’s important to pay attention to the every conversion tool you are going to use to ensure that the results you’re going to get are positive.

What are your suggestions or experience?

Now you will be able to check the on-page details, the rankings and its change and the searches for the keywords.

Note: if your keyword is new (which means, just added), you need to wait for Tiny Ranker to gather enough data to analyze it.

Let’s see how it’s ranking my niche site for the nine keywords I added a few days ago (click to enlarge the following image):

site analysis for nepetacataria.org with Tiny Ranker

As you can see, the site is ranking number 2 on U.S. Google searches for the main keywords (nepeta cataria), just after Wikipedia.org.

And it’s ranking number 1 for secondary keywords, like “cookies for cats“, for example.

It’s also ranking within top ten positions for many other secondary keywords.

The last tab of this section gives you the monthly searches, while the first one (onpage) offers in details (when clicked) the on-page optimization analysis for the specific keyword.

For example, let’s check the main keyword of nepetacataria.org:

You can see an outstanding overall score of 100%. Great job!

Building niche sites and monetizing them with Google Adsense is one of the most popular ways to make money online.

When it comes to optimizing the Adsense ads, you mostly think about adjusting the colors of texts and links to match the design of your website and then place them in tactical spots on your pages.

After years of experience (and you probably know this too), I found out that the most converting places to insert the Adsense ads are on top and below the content, or, if your articles are long enough, within the blog posts.

But the overall characteristics of each website are always different. I’m talking about the topic covered, layout and design of the site, type and format of ads, etc.

If Adsense is one of your main income streams, then I’m sure you are running different tests on your ads, to find out the most converting solutions.

Of course, this requires both time and knowledge.

What if there was an online tool (free for up to 10,000 daily page views) that does this for you?

In this post, I’m going to introduce you AdNgin.com, a solution to boost your AdSense revenue and optimize user experience through continuous testing.

How to Get Started with AdNgin

To get started, request a demo.

Just add your name, email, website URL and estimated daily page views:

form to fill when requesting a demo with AdNgin

Once you get access to the dashboard, you can add a project and grab the script code to install on your site.

If you are running a WordPress blog, it’s even easier, because you can download the AdNgin plugin, by visiting this link on WordPress directory:

AdNgin WP plugin

Now you’re ready to start testing and boosting your Adsense ads!

How to Use AdNgin

On your account, you’ll notice the “dashboard” and the “experiments” tabs.

Visit the dashboard tab to check your analytics. This section is divided into 2 areas:

  • Earnings tab, showing what you earned with Adsense in that specific period, with indication of “page RPM” and “CTR”
  • Performance tab, with the number of optimized views, clicks and CTR

The experiments tab is where you can set up everything.

If you want to do it by yourself, you first need to define “pages”, which are actually the subtype of pages within your website.

Now you want to create experiments for those pages, which are blocks of ad placements that you add within a live preview. The editor is quite simple to understand and you can choose a diverse type of ads.

You may also want to build different versions of each placement within your experiments. This way, you can evaluate what performs better: if a text or an image, for example.

Does this seem quite hard to understand?

Then the support team will be very happy to set up everything for you (this was my case).

My Experience with AdNgin

I tested AdNgin with one of my niche sites (monetized with Adsense), which unfortunately generated just a few dozen of page views per day.

After three weeks of testing, the results were really impressing!

my account at AdNgin - screenshot

CTR went up from 0.2% to 0.8%, which is an increase of 400% in a 3 week periods.

The experiments being ran on the site were:

On Desktop:

  • Sidebar ads rotated between 250*250 ad unit and a 160*600 ad unit
  • An Above the fold ad unit that rotated between 3 ads: 486*60, 336*280, 300*250
  • Below the fold unit: 300*250, 336*280

As mentioned, here were barely enough page views to assess this, but the 160*600 had a lift of 6% over the 250*250.

Surprisingly, the 486*60 had a lift of 12% over the other ad units in the group and the below the fold group didn’t get any clicks so hard to assess.

performance tab at AdNgin account

On Mobile:

  • Above the fold box banner rotated between 250*250 and 300*250
  • Another below the fold ad group rotated between 160*600 and 300*250

Note: there weren’t enough clicks on either.

Bottom line is that the experiments increased CTR by 400% compared to the same period of time before the experiment ran.

Pretty impressive, right?

Now think about this improvement on sites with big page views numbers!
